Contract Term: 6+ months.
Requesting Department: Santa Clara Valley Healthcare Analytics
On-Site Requirements/Location: Hybrid. Will be on-site for the full week, approximately every other week, per Departmental Collaboration Schedule. Contractor must also meet current and future County of Santa Clara, County Health System, and Departmental policies
Description:
This consultant will primarily convert existing Finance SAP Crystal reports into stored procedures and SSIS packages. The ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of SSIS development, SQL experience writing stored procedures (Microsoft), and be able to extract SQL logic from existing SAP Crystal reports. Knowledge of Epic Professional and Hospital Billing are required.
Typical Tasks:
Extract SQL query / logic from existing finance SAP Crystal reports.
Evaluate/consolidate multiple instances of similar reports into a single output.
Create stored procedures on SQL server.
Create SSIS packages to call stored procedures while passing parameters.
Optimize any existing SQL queries (knowledge of Clarity HB and PB required).
Produce comprehensive documentation of developed processes and workflows.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Minimum 3 years of experience with Epic reporting in a hospital / health system setting.
5+ years of SQL query and stored procedure development experience.
Working knowledge of Epic Clarity HB & PB reporting.
3+ years of SSIS development experience.
2+ years of SAP Crystal report development.
Must be a self-starter comfortable working under general direction. Required Qualifications
Epic Clarity Certification of some kind. Desired Qualifications
Epic Clarity, Finance/HB and PB Certifications are a plus.
Government, public or non-profit sector experience.
NOTE:
Contractors must meet current and future County of Santa Clara, County Health System, and Departmental policies.
Currently, those are:

Wear mask inside all County buildings, all day
Follow Employee Health protocol for testing and quarantine, as needed
Be onsite for the full week, approximately every other week, per Departmental Collaboration Schedule Work Pacific Time business hours In the future: Impossible to know. But should a booster dose be required, contractor would need to comply within stated time frame, or contract will be terminated. Vendors should not submit candidates who do not intend to comply with current or future policies.
