Job Description
Job Title: Ops Specialist MFS
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Jersey City, NJ (remote to start)
Contract Duration: Contract until 05/22/2023

Contract Duration: Contract until 05/22/2023
Global Support of all alternative fund transactions:
- Help facilitate clients wanting to buy/transfer alternative investments by supporting four internal client bases: Mutual Funds Trading Desks (NYC/London), Mutual Funds Transfer Desk (NJ), MF Corporate Actions (NJ) and MFS Implementations/Conversion Team (Boston).
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review and complete Hedge Fund Documentation.
- Manage client investments into Alternative Funds including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and real estate funds.
- Organize and maintain client and fund company information (client profile, hedge fund subscription documents, PPMs, etc.)
- Respond to internal and external client inquiries.
- Contact Fund Companies to ensure external accounts are set up properly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or related industry experience preferred
- Ability to work successfully with internal and external clients and service providers
- Ability to work successfully in a team oriented environment
- Superior organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Professional, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and PowerPoint
