We are a young and fast-growing company. We put a lot of weight into finding a co-worker who is just as driven, passionate, and committed as we are. It is now time to strengthen our fantastic Legal Team and we are searching for a Group DPO & Senior Privacy Counsel to further accelerate our growth!

What you will do:

Your main task is to be the world's best problem solver and drive legal innovation by always ensuring that privacy and data protection is in the forefront, in everything we do. As Data Protection Officer & Senior Privacy Counsel, you will have a core function to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws at Teamtailor, and assist the entire company with guidance with subject matter expertise within the area.

The job includes:

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection laws as applicable within the business.

  • Responsible for Teamtailor s Privacy governance framework ensuring data is processed in compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws

  • Provide advice and provide instructions on how to conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments

  • Support RFP Management, with Privacy escalations

  • Act as the Group DPO and serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for all privacy related matters, from data subjects customers, candidates, employees as well as authorities

  • Create, evaluate and manage policies, processes, processing registers and other documentation related to the processing of data.

  • Work closely with the product team and act as a sounding board in the development process to ensure that data protection principles and compliance are catered for.

  • Provide and develop appropriate privacy trainings to the business

  • Assist the organisation with legal guidance relating to data protection

We are looking for you who fulfil the following criterias:

  • Have a Law degree;

  • At least 5 years of legal work experience, preferably in the tech industry or from a law firm; with minimum 3 years experience with data protection;

  • Solid experience in working with GDPR, ePrivacy Directive. Experience in additional data protection laws is a plus;

  • Fluent in Swedish and English;

  • Excellent written and communication skills, with strong attention to details;

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills;

  • You are a true team player who thrives when you get to collaborate with colleagues in different teams and parts of the world;

  • Driven and works proactively; and

  • Flexibility to fit in a fast-paced business.

It is an advantage if you

  • Have experience from being a data protection officer.

  • Worked in tech companies and with HR related privacy matters
