MySQL DBA

Position: MYSQL DBA

Location: Remote

Duration : Contract & Direct hire

Pay Rate : $50/hr on W2 & Salary : $100 - $110K Per Annum+ Benefits

We need only Green Card or Citizens

Must have skills: Customer need a candidate who is a DBA, but also a have exp. of development dba as in hands on SQL, troubleshooting, optimization, recovery , DRS , AWS.

Primary Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for safeguarding the development, availability, and performance of all databases

Build on our systems to help teams quickly pinpoint, isolate, and resolve issues related to infrastructure, platform services and applications

Continually maintain and improve software build methodology, procedures, and environment

Data modelling, design, develop, and maintain database vendor cloud and on-prem products, packaging, installation, upgrades, maintenance, and administration processes

Deploy, manage, and upgrade systems, services and servers using automated configuration management and service orchestration tools

Monitor and alert based on system metrics, analysis of logfiles and custom alert rules

Ensure uptime SLA for the SaaS infrastructure, services, and applications as a member of the global team

Provide mentorship and be knowledgeable of data modeling best practices preferred skills and experience

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience with AWS RDS MySQL 5.x development DBA

5+ years of experience with Azure SQL and MS SQL Server 20XX development DBA

AWS Command Line Interface, Data Migrations, simple API calls, and offload read traffic,

Experience with deployment and upgrade of data engine and clients

Experience in development and support with AZ ADF, SSIS, T-SQL DDL and DML operations

Experience in developing and turning stored procedures, triggers, views, constraints, and functions for app routines

Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

Experience building processes supporting data structures, transformation, metadata, and workload management

Experience with data gathering, profiling, scrubbing, cleansing, and transforming techniques

Data-driven, results-oriented with the ability to quickly analyze data and make decisions
