Plant Manager

Growing Manufacturing firm in the Brookhaven, NY area has a need for a Plant Manager. The Operations/Plant Manager reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for the complete budget, staffing, payroll, production build planning/scheduling and execution of all manufacturing duties by focusing on the safety of every employee, building the best possible quality product and delivering complete on time orders that ultimately generate the most profit possible (SQDC) Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

This role is responsible for managing projects, prioritizing internal and external jobs, developing employee rotation plans, defining parts and material inventory, defining and training skills, engaging the proper resources to develop a safe, effective and efficient maintenance team and work environment. This position requires solid people skills, execution of build plans along with a solid understanding of manufacturing. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
