Chemist Silk Fiber Spinning (m/f/d)

Your mission

The Chemist Silk Fiber Spinning works as a Project Manager within the Department Development & Industrialisation for product & process development.

• You are responsible for the development & industrialisation of new silk fibers based on AMSilk unique silk protein polymers.
• You are working closely together with the pilot plant team for development of new products and processes and for improving of existing processes.
• You are working together externally with spinning partners all over the world to transfer and implement our spinning processes in a production.
• You initiate and lead development projects with universities and institutes.
• You cooperate with existing and potential new customers to develop new tailormade fibers.
• A part of your work is conducting of statistical process control as basis for development and further improvement of processes.

Your profile

• You have completed a PhD in Chemistry.
• You have more than 5 years of experience in an industrial company.
• Knowledge in the field of spinning would be an add-on.
• You have succesfully executed development projects.
• You have a basic understanding of the requirements and constraints of industrial production processes.
• You are well experienced with statistical evaluation methods.
• You are self-organised with a self-reliant working style.
• You are known for your good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Your willingness for travelling home and abroad is high (~30%)
• Your language skills are fluent in German and English
