Product Architect

Preferred/required skills:
Perform design, development and support of existing and new products.
Understand product vision and business needs to define product requirements and product architectural solutions.
Develop architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of products.
Consult the business management team to clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified products.
Work with domain, product management and product engineering teams in solution engineering efforts.
Maintain product roadmap and architectural standards that assure product development projects optimally align with business objectives.
Provide support for production escalations and problem resolution for customers.
Assist technical team with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge.
Scoring:
20%-Cost
30%-Duration and quality of experience in a product architect role. Preference given for significant technology upgrades/migrations, particularly involving cloud.
20%-Duration and quality of experience with relevant technologies, Java, Spring Framework, ORM (Hibernate), REST API, BPM/BRM Solution (DROOLS 7.x) and no SQL databases (MONGO).
15%-Scope of design responsibilities including: size of system, breadth of responsibilities, level of business knowledge required, managing of priorities and communication/negotiation with stakeholders
15%-Duration and quality of experience with public programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, Child Care assistance, etc...
