Job Description

Job Title: Hadoop Bigdata Developer

Location: Deerfield, IL

Type: Full Time

Job Description:

  • Requirement Analysis, Impact Analysis and Estimation for enhancements and change requests in Payroll/Accounting applications, as per the specified in Business Requirement specification document (BRD).
  • Providing recommendations on systems process flows and techniques for process improvement and improving data quality.
  • Design, develop, implement and manage database applications.
  • Ensuring development is done as per CMM guidelines and standards. Walkthrough and Inspection of programs, database procedures for code-standards.
  • Work closely with QA teams for Quality Reviews, Test Verification and Validation.
  • Providing support for User acceptance test and Review of the deliverables, production implementation.
  • Ensuring ITSM processes/standards are followed in production support/maintenance of database analytics systems, addressing incidents within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Review and Identify pain areas in current system, identify the root cause and implement permanent solution.
  • DevOps tools/practices implementation for faster and reliable development in close alignment with business objectives.
