Job Description
Snowflake Architect
Location: Dallas Tx
Duration: Full Time
Experience 15+ years
Required Technical Skill Set
Snowflake experience, Solution Architect
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
1. Must have hands-on experience in Snowflake architecture & implementation
2. Strong knowledge of cloud Datawarehouse and database systems
3. Understanding of Snowflake roles and user security, understanding of Snowflake capabilities like Snowpipe, STREAMS, etc, Snowflake design patterns and migration architectures
4. Must have data migration experience from on prem to cloud
5. Good communication skills
Good-to-Have
1. Certification in Snowflake
2. Knowledge of Agile Scrum, and using JIRA, GIT
3. Experience in any other data warehouse technologies
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1 Provide guidance on design and implementation of cloud data platform and cloud related architectures
2 Design solution leveraging Snowflake native capabilities
3 Collaborating with a project team to solve complex problems.
4 Provide thought leadership, strategy and direction for the Snowflake CoE.
5 Assist in Pre-Sales, RFP process, support POCs for existing engagements and new opportunities
