Desired Experience Range** 8-10 Years
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
1. At least 8 years' experience in Backup and Storage administration.
2. Strong knowledge in, Netapp / EMC / HP Storage products.
3. Strong knowledge in Tape Library (I500)
4. Strong knowledge in Veritas volume manager, netback products.
5. Working knowledge on Fabric switch administration.
6. Strong troubleshooting skills related to Backup failures.
7. High level of problem determination and analysis skills
8. Experience with technical project execution
9. Ability to communicate technical subjects/issues.
10. Documentation skills
11. Ability to work on project alone or as part of a team and a positive attitude.
Good-to-Have:
1. Knowledge of Cloud environment
2. Experience in client/Server and enterprise environments
3. ITIL Certified or a Strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and change Management disciplines.
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1 Provide support to customer Backup and Storage products.
2 Work on backup failures.
3 Work on Storage LUN mapping issues.
4 Handle troubleshooting of major issues which has huge impact on business.
5 Coordinate with VMware and Network team for resolving connectivity issues.
