Must be able to articulate requirements and track testing issues with trading partners and able to create clear, consistent technical documentation

Job responsibilities and task expectations at a high level are as follows:

The role is more an Analyst (see below) than an EDI developer.

BJ's EDI maps are already developed. They do not change.

The resource must:

Work with a Vendor to set up the EDI transactions (Send BJ's EDI specifications to Vendor EDI Profile setup documentation/questionnaire}

When questionnaire is returned from Vendor Answer Vendor's questions - Set up Vendor in BJ's Systems / Applications

Test EDI documents with Vendor and BJ's Business

Troubleshoot the Transactions if errors/issues come up when testing

Coordinate implementation into production

Provide on-call support

Monitor 2 production email directories daily

1) errors from transaction processing

2) Correspondence from Business Vendors (Requests for EDI setup Changes to EDI setup Issues with processing etc.)

Validate EDI transactions after Vendor Initiated Maintenance on some weekends
