SUMMARY:
Plans and directs development of new business for the organizations products and services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Establishes strategic business plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
B. Develops and executes comprehensive business plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives for the organization.
C. Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
D. Develops and manages new business development operating budget.
E. Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
F. Serves as liaison with outside agencies and headquarter ongoing promotional campaigns.
G. Oversees development and production of promotional and collateral materials.
H. Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
I. Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
J. Monitors competitive products and marketing activities.
K. Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers, key community and strategic partners.
L. Resolves conflicts and facilitates changes in structure of marketing group to ensure objective fulfillment and swift response to marketing problems and opportunities.
M. Conducts marketing surveys on current and new product concepts, provides feedback internally and to headquarters for future product development.
N. Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
O. Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.

Develop, execute and measure detailed strategies for targeted OEMs in various markets.
Able to represent entire system solution to OEMs using all relevant ACTIA products. Able to drive OEM requirements into future internal product roadmap decisions
Understand and influence OEM technical requirements to create opportunities for ACTIA. Able to deliver value to customer partners
Able to define long-term partnership proposals and influence customer's future product planning decisions to recommend or specify ACTIA technology and/or products to Tier 1 suppliers for targeted applications
Able to convince customers to invest in long term partnerships
Work closely with customers and understand their needs and requirements
Manage and drive internally and externally all aspects of the Global Business of select OEMs, including coordination of resources and activities in other regions
Customer Relationship Development
Secure access to all relevant decision-makers at the executive level and below at the customer
Maintain professional relationships with relevant customer contacts
Create a global account relationship development plan to secure appropriate relationships with the customer
Communicate appropriate customer-specific information to immediate management
Recognized by the customer as empowered to champion customer's needs within ACTIA Group
Create, document, and execute relationship plans consistent with the Business Development strategy for all targeted OEMs
Establish contacts at all levels from working level to Executive Management between ACTIA and OEMs

Important aspects of this position are to have the ability to build customer intimacy, drive system design activity, and be a team player
BS or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in Automotive or commercial vehicle, developing business with North American OEM and Tier 1 customers
Extensive automotive background, including automotive value chain & automotive systems/electronics, and semiconductors required
Experience managing and leading a team effectively 10+ years extensive sales and marketing experience, including executive selling, required
Local and Global travel required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and MS Office skills including effective presentation abilities
Excellent assertiveness and decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
Excellent problem-solving skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BacherlorsBachelors degree with An Engineering degree with aat least 5 years of marketing/sales experience (automotive and commercial vehicles knowledge preferred). A business degree would be a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Good control of verbal and written English is essential.
A second European language will be an added advantage.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Strong analytical skills required.
REASONING ABILITY:
Logical reasoning ability is essential.
