Job Description


Director of Finance $160-180k



  • Manage the FP&A process; budgeting and forecasting, cash flow & EBITDA

  • Establish KPIs, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, analyze financial results and variances, assess business performance and risks, and communicate key messages to the leadership team;

  • Fully responsible for management and optimization of the Corporate model

  • Evaluate Treasury outsource function; determine if current vendor or insourcing is in the companys best interest

  • Monthly, quarterly, annual Management reporting and Board presentation package

  • Become integral part of M&A evaluation; valuation modeling, divestiture analysis and business development

  • Primary point of contact for all banking relationships

  • Manage the preparation of bank account documentation, including new account openings and legacy closings, and update authorities and entitlements;

  • Treasury related activities; cash reporting, wire transfers, ACH payments, liquidity management, and review of bank activity

  • Oversight of debt facilities and maintenance of day to day lender requirements. Prepare monthly view on debt service forecast

  • Internal control maintenance for Treasury and Finance related processes

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, reports and presentations


Qualifications include:



  • Four year degree in accounting, finance, economics required

  • 10+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, treasury/cash management or similar role;

  • Experience in annual budget, capital budgeting, and long-term strategic planning

  • Treasury management experience including managing liquidity, cash flows, banking relationships and covenants

  • Financial modelling experience required to create financial models including 5-year plans, life of asset, 13-week cashflow, 3 statement models, etc.;

  • Advanced Excel experience

  • Above average communication and presentation skills

  • Strong sense of urgency and follow through

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Must have Mining or Oil & Gas experience
