About the role

Come lead Booming Games math department to bring the best real money iGaming slot experience to players across the world. You will bring your significant slot development experience to mentor and manage other mathematicians, simulation and tool engineers, prototype engineers, and backend engineers. You will work alongside product development, project management, and upper management to bring the right experience to every slot.

You ll need to be an experienced and successful real money slot mathematician (5+ years) with programming, management, and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Help plan the slots roadmap.
• Help design games and features, especially the math experience.
• Mentor the other mathematicians, reviewing their work and finding ways to improve it.
• Manage everyone in your department (5 growing to 15+ people).
• Manage all of the development within your department.
• Expand your department with the right people and onboard new hires.
• Develop exciting math models and new features.
• Support existing math models and features.
• Research trends in the online casino industry and analyze proven mechanics.

Requirements

• Passion for making great slot games.
• 5+ years of experience in real money iGaming as a mathematician.
• Portfolio of successful released games.
• Deep knowledge of math, statistics, probabilities, combinatorics, and spreadsheets.
• Programming ability and experience. You will also have a lead engineer to rely on.
• Management experience, including agile, Kanban, and issue tracking software.
• People skills.
• Highest fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Strong creative, problem solving, communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
