Senior UX Designer, Consumer

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, UX, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in UX Design.

A design portfolio showcasing design principles for web and/or mobile platforms.



Preferred qualifications:

Experience working across functions in a large organization.


Experience or familiarity with a design tool including but not limited to: Sketch, Figma, or Adobe applications.

Expertise with mobile and consumer facing UX design.

Excellent visual design skills.


Effective team player, with excellent customer service, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

As a Senior UX Designer on a Google consumer design team, you will solve consumer problems using user centric design solutions.

Work with complex systems and provide great storytelling to build cross-functional and cross-product area alignment to bring a strategic and systems/framework design mindset to solve at scale and across Google.

Collaborate with a team of designers, researchers, content strategists, engineers, and product managers focused on making the payment experience seamless and relevant for users in India.

Develop strong cross-product area relationships with teams across Google as well as our external partners.

Navigate and lead through ambiguity while partnering with driven Product Managers and Engineering leads motivated to deliver value to our users and partners.
