Amarillo, TX
We have an opening for a Merchant Services Sales Consultant in the Amarillo, TX area. This is a remote, field-based specialist responsible for providing merchant credit solutions to small business clients in the Amarillo, TX area.
The role is to drive responsible growth, consulting with small business clients in the Amarillo, TX area to help deliver service offerings that meet their needs with a focus on more complex opportunities and solutions. In this role one will spend dedicated time engaging with potential partners,and delivering in-person client appointments in the Amarillo, Texas area. Identifying merchant opportunities and gaining quality referrals will further your opportunities in the Amarillo, TX area. Maintain and manage a strong pipeline for new revenue growth as well as developing and retaining existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and maintain relationships with Financial Centers and Small Businesses in the Amarillo, TX area.
*Demonstrate a deep understanding and broad knowledge of Amarillo, TX merchants in either the Healthcare, Retail, Restaurant, Business to Business areas.
*Identify and support new client priorities in the Amarillo, TX area.
Continuously develop and maintain a strong pipeline for new revenue growth opportunities.
Act as a champion for your clients by connecting expertise across the company that helps them achieve their goals.
The ability to understand technical solutions and processes.
Maintain accurate records.
*Establish relationships with associations, chambers of commerce, centers of influence and vendor partners among others in the AMarillo, TX area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
2+ years of sales experience
Consultative selling experience
Proven relationship management
Demonstrated technical expertise
Role Qualifications:
Experience selling Merchant, Bankcard or Financial Services in similar field or face to face sales environment
Established sales, business development and negotiation skills
Is organizationally savvy; knows how to make connections and build relationships to get things done
Customer focused and highly motivated to succeed in a performance driven environment
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Effective planning, time management and organizational skills
*Lives in the Amarillo, TX area.
