Our client company is seeking an experienced quality engineer for product/program launches to ensure the highest standards of quality and production management initiatives are met.

You must be willing to:
Coordinate & lead the quality plan/problem prevention initiatives
Ensure critical product launch quality reviews are completed
Participate in program management stage gate reviews
Engage work groups (FMEA/DFM/DFA/etc) to ensure the appropriate quality input/action to define risks
Ensure completion/verification of all mitigation actions
Complete a control plan audit of run at rate build
Verify product launch quality deliverables are completed properly

Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY)
BS Engineering + training in quality engineering practices
Trained in standards for quality management systems (ISO/TS 16949/VDA/AIAG/Six Sigma/etc.)
Minimum 5 years experience in a automotive quality engineering environment (GM preferred)
Application of QMS tools/techniques (APQP/FMEA/inspection planning/SPC/DOE/etc.)
Knowledge of standards/engineering/manufacturing/product processes
