Roles & Responsibilities

This Software Engineering role with focus on DevOps will be part of J&J MedTech R&D Technology group and report to the Sr. Manager R&D DevOps. This role will support our internal XENA MedTech DevOps workstream in shaping the DevOps charter for enabling R&D teams to develop products and services across J&J MedTech franchises through common software tools/processes. There is a strong business need to build additional automation across key workflow stages for DevOps as MedTech product teams advance through the various operational stages (development, packaging, deployment and release cycles) in the pipeline both in dev and production environments.

3+ years of experience in DevOps or related field required.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline support and development using Jenkins.
Experience with cloud and containerization technologies
Experience with Jenkins or related tools
Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS/ Azure)
Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Code tools like Terraform
Experience with Python and Bash
Experience with code repository management, code merge, and code quality checks
Experience with collaboration across cross geo and diverse teams within R&D and Technology teams

Generic Managerial Skills

1. Domain experience in Life Sciences and Medical Devices industry
2. Experience in Agile and Waterfall Framework with its deliverables and project cycles
