Job Title: Senior Project Manager - B
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): St. Paul, MN (Can be hybrid or even 100% remote, for the right candidate)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a very articulate Sr. IT PM who is capable of executing on projects, managing project teams, effectively understanding and removing roadblocks, and effectively presenting project statuses to executive leadership. They must be proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations for executive reporting.
- The project involves gathering various data points and having them pool into one location. This project operates primarily under an Agile/Scrum framework and will involve several, fast-paced iterative releases. Someone more used to Waterfall is not a fit for this role.
- This PM will be managing 2 project teams - one composed of 3 members, with the other composed of 5. These team members are primarily Developers and Business Analysts.
- Budget management will not be part of the job - they will be provided with the financials so they can report on it, but they do not make the budget decisions.
- As this is truly a PM role, they do not need to be highly technical, but good knowledge of data warehousing would help as this is the core of project. Exposure to Salesforce and/or Power BI is also a plus.
- A manufacturing industry background would be the best fit. It can be healthcare, med device, food, or other consumer goods production.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree required; any field is acceptable. A PMI certification is highly preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
8+ years of experience as an IT PM. Must be used to Agile/Scrum; a purely Waterfall background is not a good fit.
The ability to execute on projects, manage project teams, effectively understand and remove roadblocks, and effectively present project statuses to executive leadership.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel required.
