Length of contract: 6 months-contact to hire

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT Platform Leads and Information Security teams to architect and design cloud security solutions. Knowledge of Cloud Security services such as AWS, Identity and Access Management, VPCs, etc. is essential
• Work with IT teams to create Cloud IaaS and PaaS technology roadmaps
• Design and document security architectures for public, private, and hybrid cloud-based systems
• Develops strategies to increase Cloud Security knowledge throughout the enterprise and develop and mentor more junior security analysts and engineers
• Represents Cloud Security in developing, documenting, and implementing the overall global enterprise cloud architecture. Acts as the technical representative for Cloud Security while engaging with other senior IT technical leaders in designing, documenting, and implementing cloud and cloud/hybrid-based implementations and solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Possess a firm understanding of the offerings within both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Microsoft Azure platforms
• Experience architecting security solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and preferably, other cloud providers
• Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc.)
• Experience working with cloud security and governance tools
• Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements for introducing new technologies
