2nd Shift Forklift Drivers

Role and Responsibilities

Promptly at the start of the shift review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled and prepare for operations.
Perform daily safety check of the assigned High Lift in accordance with company policy.
Check work orders for products to be run, obtain, scan and transport various raw food supplies to kitchen line staging areas and IQF Room with a High Lift.
Replenish kitchen lines with the appropriate materials as needed or requested throughout the shift.
Pick ingredients from freezer, transfer to plastic pallets and move to IQF room and scan codes as required.
Open gaylords, tape, spike the frozen ingredients on the spike machine using Hi-Low.
Transport to the dumper, operate dumper, unassembled gaylords and stack as required.
Fill totes and transport to the kettle dumper with Hi-Low.
Inspect and stack empty pallets, remove broken or damaged pallets as required.
Transport un-used raw materials to warehouse / freezer staging areas at end of shift.
Perform general housekeeping duties in work area, on the High Lift and charge the battery on lift as needed.
At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties and complete all required paperwork.
