Position: Sr QA Analyst Location: Fully Remote Duration: 6+ Months/Contract Interview: Phone and Skype Job Description: Citizenship & Clearance Requirements: candidate must be able to pass a federal background check and obtain a public trust clearance. Primary Role: The Senior Quality Assurance position will be in support of a Department of Energy client, with the goal of rearchitecting and existing application to remediate performance and functional issues to streamline business processes for our client's core mission areas. As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be assessing quality assurance practices and activities, as well as verifying QA best practices across the program. The ideal candidate has technical exposure to manual and automated testing using tools like Selenium or Telerik Test Studio. This is a remote position based out of the Washington D.C. metro area. Key Responsibilities: Participate in testing and quality assurance and implementation activities such as unit, system and user acceptance testing, data validation, data manipulation, and analysis Test system functionality to ensure it meets the requirements and works as designed. Coordinate with developers to articulate test scenarios, the failures, and what the expected outcomes are. Log tickets in JIRA to document tests and any findings. Experience: 5-10 years' experience of quality assurance analysis 5-10 years' experience supporting federal projects with QA 5-10 years' experience with QA implementation activities in an agile environment Ability to communicate successfully with technical, non-technical stakeholders, and executives Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT related field Key Characteristics IvoryCloud is a purpose-driven enterprise.
