Job Description

Business Systems Analyst III
Job Location: Mississauga, CAD / Remote
Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Systems Support Analyst is responsible for data administration, maintenance and user support for project and financial management reporting tool.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service: Triage and respond to user requests in a timely, professional and effective manner.
Engage other support technicians as necessary to drive customer requests to rapid and total completion Administration:
Responsible for data administration of PLANisware
Create user accounts and ensure appropriate authentication methods and security measures are in place Reporting, Documentation & amp; Analysis:
Develop and maintain Reports and Report definitions
Provide ad hoc reporting needs to support business decisions and operations
Maintain and update current procedural documentation
Gather, analyze and document business requirements and develop detailed functional requirements for Clarity and Business Objects
Document and maintain current and future Project Financial and Resource Management processes
Perform gap and impact analysis of new or changing business processes
Analyze and provide functional resolutions to any data issues in Business Objects Financial and Resource Management reports Team Work:
Work as part of a project and functional team to coordinate and execute excellent user support
Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to provide support-level feedback
Work with the application support / development teams on major changes that may impact users
Interact with development teams to ensure understanding of business requirements
Support the successful implementation of technical solutions by providing business process analysis design, detailed requirements definition alignment and user acceptance facilitation Skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Industry Experience / Cross-functional experience: Process Development/CMC knowledge
Strong understanding of database structures and table relationships
Must have strong communication skills; recognized as a subject matter expert
Strong analytical, documentation, and knowledge transfer skills*
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
Highly organized individual with exceptional task management and follow-up skills
Must be able to easily interface with the user community
Must be an excellent team player
Must be an independent worker with superb time-management skills and foresight to deliver quality results with minimal guidance *
Must have Mastery-level or Proficiency-level English verbal and writing skills - Experience and comfort in working in a global project environment with business and IT project team members - Good communication and collaboration skills
*Experience in a Scaled Agile environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following education and/or equivalent experience:
BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
0-3 years' total industry experience PLANisware experience Others:
Responsible for completing other work requirements or tasks that are requested by management when necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the department or company This role is remote and the top 3 skills the manager is looking for are:
Agile Framework
Requirements Gathering and Systems Integration
Work in Hybrid environment
