Senior Designer (m/f/d)

Your new adventure

We are looking for an experienced digital design leader. As Senior Designer you will manage the design team and lead the visual output of FreewayCamper across all our outputs. This will involve a range of responsibilities from developing new logo ideas for our latest in-house productions, stations branding or introducing new creative solutions for our social media channels. You will have a direct impact on FreewayCamper brand development and presentation of it towards different audiences: customers, investors, partners. The work of the design team appears on almost everything we post, so a keen eye for detail, solid leadership and management experience, and a collaborative approach are all a must.

Your Responsibilities:

• You ll lead our digital production team to deliver work that supports our content and business objectives.
• You ll be managing a growing team so will need to demonstrate your ability as a leader and manager.
• You ll design and improve processes in your team and across the department.
• You will support the design requirements of the wider content team, this extends to maintaining a suite of reactive templates used by editors, producers and social media managers.
• You will be able to dissect briefs and ask the important questions before taking on a project or bringing it to the team.
• You will set up and develop brand design standards & guidelines
• You ll represent the departments on all aspects of branding and design projects
• You ll be a master of the Adobe Creative Suite and will be capable of generating ideas and designs that helps our content truly stand out from the crowd.
• You ll have a passion for creating dynamic and engaging designs, with a brilliant portfolio showing recent work.
• You are familiar with SoMe and different formats used across social platforms.
• You will be required to manage the demands of key stakeholders. Cool under pressure and excellent powers of persuasion are required.
• You won t be responsible for reporting, but you should still be interested in results and adjust materials according to best performers

• You have a vision for FreewayCamper brand development
• An outstanding portfolio of digital design.
• A solid knowledge of online marketing and content creation.
• Socially native, with a strong understanding of what content audiences engage with online, applying this knowledge to your work.
• You are up to date with creative and digital / social media trends and have a passion for cutting edge creative and innovation.
• An understanding of emerging technologies and solutions.
• A good understanding of general video production processes and workflows.
• Ability to create Essential Graphics templates is desirable
• Should be resilient and calm under pressure.
• Must be a proactive problem solver.
• Previous experience in a leadership role is important.
• Must be collaborative, persuasive and influential
