Development Engineer Digital System Design (m/f/x)

Project description:

In the role of development engineer you will support a renowned customer in the field of radio and communication technology. The scope of duties includes the design of digital circuits as well as soft- and firmware development.

Tasks:

• Design and development of a digital communication system
• Development of optimal signal processing algorithms, channel codes and estimation methods
• FPGA and software implementation
• Integration and verification of developed hardware and software
• Coordination with product departments and competence centers
• Documentation of development activities

Skills:

• Completed studies or training in electrical engineering, communications engineering or a similar field
• Very good knowledge in the field of signal processing and/or communications engineering
• Professional experience in digital SW/HW co-design
• Programming skills in C/C++ as well as Matlab/Simulink
• Hands-on experience in FPGA development as well as with VHDL or Verilog
• Fluency in English
• Passion for solving complex technological problems and proactive way of working a further plus is also
• Fluent knowledge of German
• Good knowledge of FPGA design tools, e.g. Xilinx ISE
