You will be working for a company that specializes in travel experiences for the private and business market with destinations in Morocco, Andalusia and Portugal. You will be trying to close as many bookings as possible. Next to this you will be experiencing Barcelona to the fullest! You can experience all of the amazing things Barcelona has to offer such as the beaches, beautiful cathedrals and the international population.
For the Barcelona office we are looking for a inside sales representative that can make as much bookings as possible from the request we receive through our website.
The desired profile has finished a bachelor degree in a relevant field and has at least 3+ years demonstrable work experience at a travel organization, Tour Operator or DMC.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
We are looking for a great communicator, someone that is assertive and wants to build long term relationships.
You have a good geographic awareness about distances, logic routes and you are analytic in mapping. In other words: you are a fan of Google Maps and love geography
You have travelled extensively in your free time or during work and you know Portugal, Andalusia and Morocco
You like to advise people on the perfect trip and/or you have a natural curious interest in destinations and experiences
You worked before in a commercial job (not necessarily cold-calling) in which you understand the concept of sales funnels and sales processes
You are proactive and you think ahead of how to get your clients to the next step in the process towards a booking
You are creative and a good problem-solver to avoid obstacles in the sales process
You like to obtain goals and are result-driven
You are good at writing Dutch by email and you are comfortable over the phone speaking to clients
You are good at numbers to make sure the price calculations you make for clients are correct
You are excellent in time management and are able to prioritize and internalize coordination.
You are comfortable working efficiently with systems such as a CRM, Excel etc.
The Barcelona office has a team of four permanent employees and a number of trainees, part-timers, freelancers and volunteers and it is important that the candidate has a good empathic power and can switch at different levels. Through their work culture they distinguish themselves, they are:

We offer both Dutch and Spanish contracts, depending on your personal situation and we offer a yearly contract and renewed in an indefinite contract.
The job is for 40 hours a week, full time at the office
The salary is on the basis of experience and potential as candidate.
