Job Description

The Site EHS Professional is responsible for supporting and improving the Pridgeon & Clay EHS Management System integration into the Grand Rapids site operations and activities to promote and maintain a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly work environment. The Site EHS Professional will introduce and ensure compliance to Corporate EHS Minimum Operating Requirements(MOR), policies and manuals for the Grand Rapids location.





Qualified candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Safety Management or other related field.

• Three to five years of experience leading safety and environmental efforts in a complex, fast paced manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of, and the ability to apply and audit for compliance to: MIOSHA/OSHA, EGLE/EPA, NFPA and ISO 14001 rules and laws to manufacturing and advanced engineering operations.

• Passionate about encouraging and enforcing safe work practices.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach and train effectively.

• Proficiency with computer based systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, etc.).

• A self-started requirement minimal supervision.

• Genuine Respect for people with the ability to interact respectfully with employees at all levels of the organization.
