Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Combat Mission Systems business. The Electrical Engineer supports the design, development, packaging, testing, and integration efforts of electrical/electronic systems and components that ultimately support the war-fighter. The qualified candidate will work under general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions. The Electrical Engineer provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field and four years relevant experience or two years relevant experience with master's degree.
• Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge
• Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.
• Ability to create and manage interface control documents.
• Ability to perform circuit simulation (PSpice or LTspice)
• Familiarity with MATLAB, or Simulink, or PSpice, or LabVIEW
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey data, information, and technical results to customers.

Experience

• Experience with analog and digital circuit design and analysis
• Experience developing technical documentation such as drawings, reports, & technical analysis

Education

• BSEE or equivalent required
