Job brief: The UI/UX Designer will gather user requirements, design graphic elements, and build navigation components. The UI/UX Designer will create both functional and appealing features that address our company’s needs and help us grow our customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Expert with designing frontends for websites and mobile applications for both design aesthetics and user experience.
- Work with the backend architect for a complete end to end solution for both websites and mobile solutions.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business analyst and developers.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, user flows, and sitemaps.
- Optimize existing user interface designs.
- Design and build graphic user interface elements using modern tools.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function; wire frame, low/high fidelity, and navigation maps.
- Create original graphic designs.
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Test for intuitive designs, identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.
Job Skills:
- Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- 1+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer.
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
- Portfolio of design projects.
- Knowledge of wireframe and frontend mockup tools.
- Up-to-date knowledge of modern web and mobile designs.
- Must have a link to one’s portfolio.
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field; or equivalent experience.
- Work well under pressure.
- Detail oriented, thorough, analytical, and inquisitive.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
