Procurement and Warehouse Manager

SST GmbH is
looking for an active, innovative and responsible procurement and warehouse manager to be a part of a fast-growing, friendly and tight-knit company. The candidate would enjoy a stable salary and a comfortable working environment, as well as challenging and exciting day-to-day tasks.

Tasks

Procurement and warehouse manager s tasks include overseeing ongoing
shipments from suppliers worldwide, researching, contacting and securing
advantageous contracts with new suppliers, building and maintaining
long-lasting relationships with suppliers old and new as well as managing the
warehouse capacity, inventory control and logistics.

• Management of existing suppliers worldwide, including shipments from the UAE, Korea and China
• Sourcing and engaging new reliable suppliers and vendors to then maintain long-term relationships
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms, both in regards to prices and lead times
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Controlling the procurement budget
• Overseeing installation and afterwards managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
• Supervising daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management Management of logistics and shipments from suppliers

Requirements

• Completed vocational training and/or a degree in business administration or technical studies or an equivalent level of experience

• Previous experience in purchasing, tendering, negotiations and supplier management

• Strong logical problem-solving approach, research and analytical skills

• Ability to negotiate contracts

• Independent working style, adherence to deadlines and high-quality standards

• Highly numerate and strong analytical skills combined with good MS Office knowledge, particularly Excel

• Excellent communication skills, both in English and German

• Full-time position

• Start of work ASAP

• 3 months probationary period

• Reporting to the Managing Director
