Emergency Department Nurses needed in Pennsylvania
Overall Assignment Amount: $42,991
Overall Weekly Amount: $3,307
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13-week assignment
3 12 hour shifts available
Midshift 11A-1130P
Requirements:
- Licensure: Active Pennsylvania
- Certification: AHA BLS & AHA ACLS
- Experience: 2 years of ED nursing
Benefits:
36 Hour Option:
Overall Assignment Amount: $42,991
Overall Weekly Amount: $3,307
- $38/hr and $57/hr overtime. Weekly Taxable: $1,368
- Weekly Per Diem: $553
- Weekly Housing: $1,386
- Weekly nontaxable Stipends: $1,939

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions
- Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention
- Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience
- Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.
- Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing
