We are looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Developer (Long term 3 yrs) (HYBRID) (Min 6 years of IT exp) (Webcam or In-Person interviews)

Please note that this position is HYBRID. Candidate shall work from office 2-3 days in Washington DC . Candidates from DC metro area preferred.

About the Role:
The individual will support all aspects of data acquisition and transformation to drive high-visibility of client data. The Senior Data Warehouse Developer will support our data warehouse and Business Intelligence initiatives. The senior developer will work with team to transform client's data analytics to Cloud native infrastructure. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Data Warehouse Developer will work closely with Master Data Warehouse Architect to design, develop, and maintain client's complex data warehouse and business intelligence applications and processes.
Responsibilities:
Design, build and maintain data a warehouse architecture on AWS cloud to ensure that client data warehouse is accurate, scalable, performs efficiently and is available for mission critical users.
Transform existing data warehouse platform to AWS cloud native, building a data lake.
Design and deliver data sets from the definition phase through production deployment
Ensures quality of data through the configuration and audit of the data warehouse
Focuses on enforcing standards and managing items like data diagrams and process flows
Design, create and optimize complex queries for data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) processes
Administer user access and security, implement user-defined security rule
Evaluate and create point of view on big data technologies and prototype solutions to improve data processing architecture.
Define information models supporting product assets of complex data structures represented in various data management systems such as graph, relational and hierarchical.
Guide and support data compliance.
Education / Experience Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience as a Data Warehouse developer.
- 4 years of experience with AWS cloud and Big Data.
- At least 2-3 years' experience with designing and developing Data Pipelines for Data Ingestion or Transformation using AWS technologies.
- 2 years of experience with AWS data analytics platform using AWS Glue, Redshift,. Building the Data Lake using AWS technologies like S3, EKS, ECS, AWS Glue, AWS KMS, AWS Firehose, EMR
- 8 years of relevant experience of writing and optimizing SQL, building ETL processing.
- 2 years of relevant experience in creating lambda, Python, Pyspark.
- 2 years' experience of CloudWatch, Cloud trail and Cloud monitoring.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience
Candidates must have ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position. "Desired" or "Highly Desired" skills are a PLUS but may NOT be required.
