Job Description
Senior Mainframe Developer
Remote (EST / CST Area Candidates)
Openings: 2 (2 remaining)
Duration: 3-6 months (extendable)
Technology: COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS databases, File-Aid
Perform Source code Analysis, extract and document functional flow, code, test and fix technical issues
Understand and create Low Level Design based on requirement Analysis
Write technical design documents and develop sequence diagram, class diagrams etc. using MS Visio.
Work on self-functioning agile team
5+ years of experience in COBOL, CICS (conceptual understanding is fine), JCL, DB2, VSAM
Experience in IMS data bases and File-Aid
Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of iSeries/AS400 is nice to have
Should have Healthcare domain background and sound knowledge of Medical Claims and Adjudication process
