Sr. Manager Content Writer

We are seeking an experienced Video & Learning Content Producer to help produce videos & scale the learning content product for our client, one of the world's leading venture capital firms. The successful candidate will work as an 'embedded' content producer with our client, reporting into their Head of Content, and work closely with our own video production team.


Key Responsibilities
1. Work with the Content Team to ideate, script, produce, and oversee execution of video content
2. Script interview questions and talking points for podcast
3. Attend talks and sessions delivered by subject experts and use editorial judgment to cut and produce short form video for web and social
4. Liaise with vendors to coordinate shoot and production requirements
5. Handle end-to-end production of video properties
6. Write engaging web and social copy for video properties
7. Leverage live educational sessions delivered by subject experts to produce high-utility content and learning modalities across short-form and long-form video
8. Create episode descriptions and playlists that guide users through an intuitive learning experience
9. Work with the Head of Content to ideate and oversee execution of written content in addition to video
10. Work directly with product, content, program & community teams and initiatives to ensure all learning materials are harmonious, up-to-date and in-line with concurrent priorities
11. Advocate for consistently high-quality learning experiences that deliver value for our communities, while ensuring all deliverables are meeting expectations
12. Must be willing to travel

Key Skills

1. A background (and/or degree) in mass comms, broadcast journalism or documentary production learning development/instructional design, ideally at an EdTech firm
2. Experience in video and print content, with strong writing skills
3. 5-8 years of experience producing video content & learning development/instructional design
4. Understanding of video production process and software
5. Experience in video and print content, with strong writing skills
6. Strong communication skills and experience interacting with high-caliber business-minded people //
7. Execution-oriented; this role will require brainstorming, ideating, filming content, interviewing people, attending site recces, working closely with crew and video editors,
writing copy, editing content, jumping into conversations, etc
8. Passion for startups and creating innovative education content for the founder community
