Job Description

Role: AWS Serverless with Java

Location: 100% Remote Role.

Duration: W2/C2C/FTE with Benefits As preferred by the candidate.

Client: Mphasis

End Client: Fidelity

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • We are working on building a new Event Driven System on AWS serverless for messaging using Kafka.
  • Event-driven system for message processing
  • Realized with AWS serverless stack (Lambda, SQS, S3)
  • While upstream, and downstream have MQ within AWS it is all through Managed Streaming for Kafka
  • Primary processing of messages is enrichment and matching and splitting
  • So java background but more importantly serverless / functions programming, message processing/ Kafka experience imp.
  • As terracode exists the resource does not need to have IaC and terraform expertise

SKILL BREAKDOWN:

  • AWS Serverless experience Lambda - SQS - S3
  • Step Functions
  • Terraform - IaC
  • Kafka
  • General Programming knowledge (Java 3 out of 5 confidence level needed)
  • Good To Have Skills.
  • Amazon EKS Amazon ECS/Fargate (We suspect they may run into execution time problems with Lambda)
