In a nutshell

First things first: The role of an Intern at Picnic is a versatile one. From day one, you ll coordinate a project in a holistic and sustainable way and be end-to-end responsible for one part of our business. It s important to us that you drive the project or other improvements from initiation to implementation.

You will be part of our supply chain analyst team and will work closely with colleagues from Germany, the Netherlands and France on the operational processes in our warehouses. You will have as a mentor who will be supporting you during your whole Picnic journey, standing ready for any personal or professional challenges coming your way!

What you ll do

• Analyze collected data from our warehouses
• Build and optimize models to improve outbound quality
• Implement a back end-logic in python within our Edge System
• Communicate effectively with different stakeholders across Picnic such as our tech and data teams to deliver impactful and sustainable solutions

About you

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor s or Master s program in a quantitative field of study, such as in Mathematics, Engineering or Supply Chain/Logistics
• You have experience in excel or similar programs (experience with python is a plus)
• You have a passion for detail and are number driven
• You are fluent in both verbal and written English
• You have EU citizenship or a valid visa to work in the EU
• Availability: at least 4-6 months starting asap
