Job Description
Minimum Skills/Experience and knowledge required (Competencies):
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (trade papers essential)
Experience on trucks, tipper trailers & yellow equipment & hydraulics would be advantages
Diploma in Road transport or studying toward a diploma of similar criteria
Valid Code EC license with PRDP
Brief description of key performance areas:
Oversee and implement the fleet maintenance programme
Manage stock levels and the purchase of replacement parts and equipment
Ensure successful implementation, monitoring and management of SHEQ procedures
Attend to breakdowns and implement maintenance schedules
Develop and maintain a sound relationship with staff and suppliers
Build and maintain a relationship with internal stake holders
