Desktop Engineer

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

• Strong understanding and hands-on knowledge of windows desktop platform overall
• Strong experience in building , maintaining and administering windows desktop builds and images
• Understands the ins and outs of image build process, installers and best practices
• Proficient in optimizing performance of desktops and user experience
• Familiar with Azure AD, Hybrid join,
• Strong in Group policies and configuring and simplifying them
• Experienced in Microsoft Modern workspace management capabilities levering Intune, Auto Pilot, desktop anlaytics etc.
• Experienced in SCCM administration and patch management
• Strong skillset in scripting, powershell etc.
• Proficient in automation through PowerShell/Azure CLI/VBScritp/Batch etc
• Handson knowledge and expertise in software application packagin and deployment
• Familiarty with tools such as Flexera , app portal and enabling sefl service capabilities to users would be a plus
• Relevant Microsoft Certifications
