We are looking for Infrastructure (Cloud) Technical Specialist (Min 16 years of exp) (Webcam interviews)
POSITION DESCRIPTION
DIRECT CLIENT Position
Number of positions: 1
Length: 3-15 Months +
Location: 955 L'Enfant Plaza SW, Washington DC 20024
Immediate interviews Webcam interviews
Please note that this position is REMOTE.
However, candidate must go onsite on 1st day to pick up equipment and Access Cards.
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Technical Specialist with proven professional experience in the design, development, and mgt/monitoring of native system infrastructure and cloud infrastructure.
We are looking for an Infrastructure Technical Specialist with cloud and datacenter experience who will act as an architect for designing, implementing, and monitoring the system infrastructure. The incumbent will collaborate with other team members to develop automation, orchestration strategies and deployment processes.
The incumbent will become an integral part of the client Team, making every problem associated to the platform a problem of their own and will demonstrate the required initiative and critical thinking abilities necessary to resolve all problems and challenges accordingly.
The Core duties associated with the role are as follows:
Manage the Cloud infrastructure
Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools.
Develop and maintain configuration management solutions.
Develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with rest of the team.
Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure.
Manage the Disaster Recovery process
Other related duties as assigned.
This individual will be working closely with the Client and its' partner agencies

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications.
- Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience; or a current Project Management
Professional (PMP) Certification
Candidates must have ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position.
