Job Description
Details of the role:
ACS was selected as the vendor to implement DR and BCP for the client. This role will be key in establishing PEM's DR infrastructure and processes on AWS. Will be involved in identifying DR process for standing up a DR environment and connecting systems/application.
Key responsibilities:
Understanding and validation of the details with respect to infrastructure, application and Integrations of Upstream/Downstream
Finalize solution design and deployment architecture for DR Cloud
Connectivity requirements between On-premises Corporate Network and respective AWS Regions
Coordinate with application teams for Application dependency mapping and integrations
Coordinate with teams for LDAP, AD Integration, Antivirus and Malware Protection Integration
Coordinate with Network teams for Firewall Configurations for Application / Infra Services Integrations
Coordinate with project team for secure data transfer from on-premises environments
AWS Deployment Architecture/design validation and prepare/maintain Blueprint Documentation
Design security, compliance and other governance models for AWS recommended approach
Perform architecture / design reviews with Security teams
Verify Implementations
Required Skills:
15+ years relevant experience in technology/software consulting with 10+ years of design, implementation, and/or consulting experience with distributed applications or systems architecture.
5+ years of experience with infrastructure/application architecture, database architecture and networking
Strong skills in AWS services across compute, network, and storage.
Strong understanding on cloud migration
Knowledge of Cloud Endure and CloudFormation
Knowledge about AD integration with AWS
Good knowledge about AWS Networking
Good understanding about AWS Firewall configuration
