Job Description

Very high volume (6,000 tests PER DAY, 2.5 million tests/year), fast-paced Lab in Somerset, Ohio need of an experienced MT/MLT-ASCP for night shift (7p - 7:30a), 36 hours/week assignment (three 12-hour shifts) with 2 nights and one day shift. Assignment requires a Generalist strong in Chemistry and also Hematology. Main equipment used = Ortho 5600's and Sysmex hematology. Experience with Beaker/SoftLab strongly preferred. The tech will work every other weekend (this may vary depending on volume and staffing) and will be included in any holiday rotation. The candidate MUST have current or very recent high volume, hospital-based Chemistry experience in order to receive consideration for the assignment. ASCP required. Floating to the Genesis Hospital's main lab in Zanesville, OH is not expected, but we cannot guarantee this would never happen on a rare basis.
