Team lead for a large Warehouse in Mississauga, ON

We are urgently hiring a Team Lead for a large reputable warehouse in Mississauga. The candidate should have 3-4 years of experience as a Team Lead or a similar role.
SHIFT TIMINGS:
Morning Shift 7am to 3pm

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Oversee warehouse staff on a day to day basis, assign daily priorities, ensure productivity and perform quality checks
Assist with training new warehouse staff during the onboarding process
Provide coaching and on the job training to ensure individuals can achieve company targets
Cross train employees in all warehouse functions and standards
Proactively investigate and resolve operational irregularities with warehouse staff
Ensure standard work procedures are being adhered to
Follow the standard practices related to food safety and food defense policies along with GMPs and GHP standards and ensure it is adhered to by warehouse staff
Participate in training and comply with the requirements of: SQF Code, Food Safety and Quality Policy Statement, HACCP Prerequisite Programs, Food Safety Finished Product Handling, Good Manufacturing Practices / Good Distribution Practices, Reporting Food Safety Incidents and related food safety and quality training as well ensuring compliance for direct/indirect reports
Ensure all warehouse staff follow workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations
Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Escalate any unresolved issues to the Supervisor
Identify areas of improvement in support of Operational Excellence initiatives in collaboration with the manager
Monitor workflow in warehouse management system, resolve any system issues
Operate lift equipment as needed
Performs other duties as required
