Job Description
We are looking for Sr. .NET Developer (Min 8 years of exp) (Local to DC/MD/VA Candidates ONLY) (Webcam interviews)
POSITION DESCRIPTION
DIRECT CLIENT Position
Number of positions: 1
Length: 12 Months +
Location: Washington DC 20024
Immediate interviews Webcam interviews ONLY
Please note that this position is mostly REMOTE and need to be onsite on as needed basis. It may turn into HYBRID in the future.
.NET Developer Sr.
The .NET Developer role requires a service oriented mentality, high sense of ownership of the problems and requests assigned, focus on managing and resolving issues in alignment with the SLAs, establishing and maintaining communication with technology customers to keep them updated with status of their requests, initiating and performing changes on production systems and proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within the
established timeframes.
Qualifications:
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions
- including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Ajax
- toolkit, Telerik RADGRID, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and
- C#/VB.NET
- Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an
- action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Create technical specifications and test plans
- Solid Technical understanding of ASP.NET Ajax platform and
- experience developing .NET applications using Telerik RadGrid
- Understanding of the full application lifecycle from inception through
- maintenance
- Communicate effectively with clients and interact with client's Senior
- Management Team
- Understand and apply design and modeling concepts at the system level
- Strong documentation and basic unit testing skills
- Work with development team, users, and business analysts to analyze
- complex problems and define solutions.
- Solid understanding of architecture of web applications, object-oriented
- designs and concepts and relational database design.
- 8+years for all the above Except e) 5+years

JavaScript, C#/VB.NET, SharePoint
SQL Server Management Studio, SQL developer, JavaScript, Visual

MS SQL 2010, MS SQL 2012, Oracle11g, Informatica
Candidates must have ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position. "Desired" or "Highly Desired" skills are a PLUS but may NOT be required.
