Accountant Role in NY

Description Job Summary: 2 years experience and knowledge of general and management accounting principles and practices, automated accounting systems, A/P and A/R as well as reconciliation and budgeting. Daily accounting activities (e.g., general ledger maintenance, accounting statement and financial report preparation) in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP); Familiar with general accounting concepts, practices and procedures; Relevant software skills. Generate system reports to monitor spending; Maintain internal tracking systems; Provide technical support to the AP team in a fast-paced environment with pressing deadlines. Candidate is expected to liaise with vendors and various Departments on all AP-related matters. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
