When it comes to growing our Kitchen Stories team, we aim to attract and retain the right talent by inspiring them for our innovative product, our clear purpose, and our inclusive culture. In this role, you will report to Nora, Head of People & Organisation, and help us find great new team members by sourcing, pitching and closing candidates.

Tasks

  • Since we recruit for a broad range of positions, it never gets boring. You not only publish job ads, screen incoming applications and conduct first screening calls, but also continuously think about out-of-the-box ways to find the right talent
  • You actively search for talents on LinkedIn according to our hiring priorities and define sourcing strategies
  • You effectively use our applicant tracking system (Personio) to manage candidate pipelines, schedule interviews, streamline candidate communications, always focusing on a great candidate experience based on transparency as well as fast and straightforward communication
  • You work closely with our Hiring Managers and are the point of contact for all kinds of recruiting queries that come from the team
  • You are an advocate for our employer brand and company culture, both internally as well as externally
  • You come up with ideas to help drive process improvements and how to ensure that Kitchen Stories is a great place to work since our success comes down to our team

Requirements

  • You are an empathetic and outgoing person who easily builds relationships with different people
  • Ideally, you have gained first working experience as a recruiter or within a people-related role, hands-on experience in working with an ATS, especially Personio, and active sourcing via Linkedin is a plus
  • You are a confident communicator and enjoy working with stakeholders and hiring managers at all levels
  • You re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who is able to proactively adjust to shifting priorities
  • You are passionate about cooking and food in general, and inspired by what we do at Kitchen Stories
  • You have excellent English language skills; German is a bonus

Benefits

  • The opportunity to be part of an engaged, talented and international team, working together to build the ultimate cooking platform for our community
  • A supportive and appreciative working environment, which ensures that you will not only grow professionally but also personally
  • Strong awareness of the importance of heterogeneous and diverse teams and a continuous emphasis on cross-functional collaboration
  • An unlimited contract and the option to benefit from our contribution to your occupational pension, so your future is looked after
  • 28 annual vacation days and flexible working hours, which allow you to organize your daily work individually
  • A generous learning budget and 5 paid training days per year to support your personal and professional development
  • The option to work from abroad for a few weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip
  • A spacious office in vibrant Prenzlauer Berg, boasting 5 kitchens, flexible workspaces for creative thinking and focus time, and a well-stocked bar
  • Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team: team events, from lunch parties to summer boat rides either virtually or in person when possible
  • Tons of great food to test and try from our shoot and test kitchens every day

If that sounds like you we are looking forward to hearing from you. No fancy cover letters are needed, you can keep it short and simple. However, besides your CV we would be very interested in learning a bit more about your motivation for this position and to become part of Kitchen Stories.
