(Senior) Product Designer

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a senior product designer to join our design team. This role is for you if you enjoy a great deal of autonomy in a fast-paced environment and the freedom to explore all the possibilities of a financial command center for modern businesses. As an early member to our product design team you will have the opportunity to influence our design, product as well as our culture.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Complete ownership from ideation to launch: You will lead the exploration of product features across user research, strategy, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping. You will explore the problem space with a high degree of autonomy in collaboration with product managers and engineers to create a user-tailored solutions.
• Early design bird. As one of our first product design hires, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape our design team and its processes. You'll be an integral part in shaping our design system, cultural and product.
• Experimental. You will get the space to experiment in different disciplines and broaden your horizon. We support self-improvement and the drive to learn new things. You'll get the chance to improve different skill sets in your day to day work, notably user research and frontend development.
• Building together. You will work in a cross-functional team. You will advocate for our users to achieve user-centric designs, collaborate with product managers to build a well thought-through product and partner with engineering to ship delightful features.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience:

• You have 3-5 years of experience working as a product designer in a cross-functional product team, designing seamless experiences for business users. Plus: You have experience in fintech or banking.

• You enjoy ownership from ideation to launch: You can lead the exploration of product features from discovery to launch. You explore the problem space with a high degree of autonomy in collaboration with product managers and engineers to create a user-centric solution.

• You are a full-stack product designer who enjoys creating wireframes as much as pixel-perfect user interfaces.

• You have contributed to and/or build a design system and you are familiar with design tokens.

• You have designed for and interacted with business users in a B2B setting before.

• You are a champion for users and enjoy leading user interviews.

• You are excited about joining a small design team. We are looking for creators and makers, who are willing to help us shape Friday Finance's design.
