Middleware AI Architect (f/m/d)

At UltiHash we ensure that companies grow their most valuable data sustainably by reducing the resources needed to store and distribute unstructured data by 90%. This is made possible by an AI system that structures data without redundancy in a distributed storage system and independently allocates computing resources to access, process, migrate and analyze data on demand. After investing months into the research of our groundbreaking technology we are now looking for a skilled Middleware AI Architect that is proficient in deep learning models and interested to program in C++17 and up to the standard of C++23 to join the team. You will be working closely with the Founder and CTO of the company and engage in the development of the system from an early stage.

You will join the team as one of the first employees, grow with the team and have a real impact on the company's future. You can work from our Berlin office or remotely.

You are...

A passionate and exceptionally capable developer with at least 2-3 years of professional experience (full/part-time). You have successfully completed your Master's/PhD degree in Computer Science or will complete it in the next few months. You enjoy taking responsibility and creatively helping to shape the project.

Requirements

• C++, you know how to construct (variadic) templates and multithreading process communication as well as how to build robust non-thrashing HPC network processes on any ISA level, especially with the help of libraries like OpenMP and MPI.
• You have heard about operating system topics like the gnu libraries, Linux scheduling and memory page intercommunication and are familiar with some of the Linux C interfaces to fine-tune threading and custom cluster load balancing in C++.
• You have also worked with high-level topics like unsupervised machine learning and optionally neural networks.
• You are a geek on fixing deadlocks and livelocks + preventing those even over thousands of lines of code in multithreaded systems and can handle multiple network ping and meta data connections with multiple threads on very powerful many core NUMA machines.
• You follow your gut feeling when challenges need to be solved with completely new algorithms in AI systems. Your attitude is solution-oriented.
• Programming database accesses under Linux is nothing new for you.
• You have heard of APIs and interfaces for cloud booking automation and network communication and are interested in how to improve those.
• Fluent in English (German is a plus).
