Tasks

What you can expect

For the role of Content Marketing & Event Manager, we are looking for a person for whom writing is a passion and fighting climate change is a matter of heart. A person who loves telling our story, sharing climate expertise with businesses, and hosting impactful events.

What you will be responsible for

• Work with our marketing team to build a vibrant and visionary CLIMATE community that wants to decarbonize the economy and actively drive climate transformation all the way down their supply chain.
• To do this, create knowledge-based content for corporate experts and strategically push it on all of our social media channels (focus on LinkedIn).
• Develop strong, audience-relevant and SEO-optimized text and best practices for published content and our own CLIMATE magazine.
• Lead the planning and implementation of our annual online event, the CLIMATE Transformation Summit, and recruit strategically important partners, sponsors and speakers for it.
• Be the first point of contact for our CLIMATE community and manage our Slack group (>1,500 members).
• Support the planning and implementation of further events and work closely with our Growth Team (Marketing, Sales and Business Development) to ensure a great Customer Journey.

Requirements

Your qualifications

• You have 2-3 years of relevant professional experience as a content manager, journalist, concept developer or in a comparable role in the field of climate and/or sustainability.
• You have a solid knowledge of current trends, frameworks and certifications in the sustainability sector.
• You are familiar with the specifics of B2B social media marketing and know what is important for target group-oriented content.
• At best, you already have some experience in planning and executing events.
• You are an excellent organizer, project management is your thing and you love to solve problems quickly and analytically.
• You are fluent in German and English, and writing expert content in both languages is not a problem for you.
