Grid is on a mission to digitalize events. We offer event organizers a well-integrated solution, helping them from selling the first tickets to running their events completely cashless. We ve designed our system to combine innovation with reliability, ensuring our customers trust is validated by seamlessly running events.
In this role, you ll work closely with our engineering and design teams to ensure we are implementing the features needed by our customers and their guests. You ll interact a lot with our different teams, customers, and their guests to improve our understanding of their problems and where we can help them. Along the way, you ll need to balance innovation with the requirement of being a stable and reliable partner, ensuring that each UI feature can be handled by our accounting, guest support, and so on.
Tasks
As a Senior Product Manager, you will:
- Develop a product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer needs and strategic opportunities together with our Leadership team
- Partner with our designers and engineers to build and iterate on well-crafted products
- Keep the big picture of our customer needs in mind while working out every detail of a new feature with the design and engineering teams
- Work closely with our sales, customer success, guest support, and technical event management teams to deeply understand customer needs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Help us to identify our key product metrics, to connect the team s bets to business outcomes
Requirements
You'll be a great addition to the team if you:
- Embrace the customer as part of the team. We believe you don t build what the customer requests, but what the customer actually needs. To do that, you first have to be an expert in the problem. You interact with customers directly - proxies don t work - so you always gather first-hand feedback.
- Empower everyone to be a leader. We believe teams closest to the problem are best suited to make the hard decisions quickly. We don t institute stage gates for a reason - you are given autonomy to ensure we are always progressing forward.
- Inspire through storytelling. We believe it is our responsibility to motivate through memorable stories that build a deep understanding of our users' experience. You tell stories to communicate strategy and inspire the outcomes we want to create for our customers.
- Learn through frequent iteration. We believe that rapid iteration is the #1 indicator of success. You strive for a 10x vision, but you get there through 0.1 iterations. To continuously learn, you have to co-develop with customers. It may be faster to build behind closed doors, but by testing skateboards you can learn if you re on the right path and gain the confidence needed to build a world-class experience.
- Care about the details. We are building an innovative product to solve complex issues. When adding a button to the interface, you ll make sure its impact is properly thought through down to the billing report for our customers.
