Global Supply Chain Strategy Executive, Swiss Technology Group

We support a global leading, fast-growing Swiss Technology Group in the search and selection of the Global Supply Chain Strategy Executive who will lead a variety of strategic SCM projects and efforts and play a central role in creating the annual and long-term global supply chain strategic plan.

Tasks

The role is crucial to the company's ability to establish its short, medium and long-term plans in an increasingly challenging business and geopolitical environment.

The Global Supply Chain Strategy Executive will

• set the Global SC Strategy Definition and be responsible for bringing together crucial pieces of information such as strategic priorities, competitor performance, operational performance, innovations, markets, etc. from various internal and external sources to develop strategic options
• set the Strategic Planning Framework and consult with senior managers on strategic priorities to ensure appropriate consideration of the Group's goals
• realize an effective Project- and Program Management across the Supply Chain Organization to ensure key milestones are achieved
• provide advice and support on good practice and support the management across the Group in the development of the firm's SC strategy
• lead functional as well as line management of teams

Requirements

We are looking for a Supply Chain leader from the technology sector or from one of the top strategy consulting firms. The role reports to the Global Head SCM at the HQ in Switzerland. We expect

• Technical university degree (ETH) with further business training (Exec. MBA) and specialization in SCM
• Solid track record in Strategy Leadership/Strategy Consulting and broad, international SCM experience from a leading multinational technology firm (mechanical engineering, electronics, robotics, semiconductors or equivalent)
• Strong leadership and management skills, a good listener and excellent communicator
